“…The solution was well shaken, subjected to ultrasonic treatments (10 min) and magnetic separation, then 2.0 mL of hexane was added to the solution, vortexmixed for 1 min, and then centrifuged at 4000 rpm/min for 5 min, 1.0 μL of the upper (hexane) supernatant phase was pipetted for GC-MS analysis. Figure 1C presents the XRD diffraction of SiO 2 -β-CD@Fe 3 [18]. The broad peaks occurring at 2θ ranging from 20 to 28 • are the characteristic diffraction peaks of amorphous SiO 2 [19], indicating that SiO 2 is successfully encapsulated onto the surface of Fe 3 O 4 .…”

“…Liu et al. later employed MAA‐Fe 3 O 4 to construct Fe 3 O 4 @ZIF‐8 and applied it in MSPE to extract several phthalate esters in water samples. Coupled with HPLC analysis, low LODs (0.08–0.24 μg/L) and wide linear range (1.0–100.0 μg/L) were obtained during this assay.…”

“…Owing to high specific surface area, large pore volume, and superparamagnetism, ZIF-67-C demonstrated excellent adsorption capability with good recoveries to target compounds ( [78] in determination of chlorophenols with satisfactory linearity range (0.5-100.0 ng/mL for water samples; [73], PAHs [74], phosphopeptides [75], and endogenous peptides [71]. “…As a consequence, studies on MSPE have devoted efforts to design and screen magnetic adsorbent materials with high extraction performance towards target pollutants. Furthermore, many functional materials, such as Fe 3 O 4 /cobalt(II)‐based metal‐organic nanotubes (Fe 3 O 4 /Co‐MONT), Cd(II)‐ion imprinted magnetic mesoporous silica material, octadecyl‐functionalized monodispersed magnetic ferrite microspheres, Fe 3 O 4 /3‐(trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate/ionic liquid nanoparticles, zeolitic imida zolate framework‐8 (ZIF‐8), Fe 3 O 4 /metal‐organic framework (Fe 3 O 4 /MOF), Fe 3 O 4 /SiO 2 /UiO‐66 microspheres, and polydopamine‐coated magnetic Fe 3 O 4 composites (Fe 3 O 4 @PDA) , have been successfully used in the MSPE of various environmental pollutants.…”
