Abstract: Background: ALPPS (associating liver partition and portal vein ligation for staged hepatectomy) is a two-stage strategy to induce rapid hypertrophy of future liver remnant (FLR) to increase hepatic tumor resectability and reduce postoperative liver failure rate.
