Determination of hydrocyanic acid and free cyanide in aqueous solution

Abstract

a function of the volume of extracted water.Ahnoff and Josefsson (1) recovered nearly 100% of the added amount of lindane while using a pump rate corresponding to 2 L/h. However, the volume of water which was extracted amounted to only 8 L. The determination of recovery in Table I is important for practical reasons because a large amount of water containing a small concentration of organo-chlorine compounds was extracted.
