Determination of genetic diversity of edible-seeded watermelon genotypes using SRAP markers

Abstract: The watermelon (Citrullus lanatus L.) is one of the most commonly grown and consumed vegetables in the world. Some genotypes of watermelon, which have significant variations, have a snack potential due to their seed characteristics. In this study, SRAP (Sequence Related Amplified Polymorphism) marker technique was used to determine the genetic relationship between some edible-seeded watermelon genotypes.
