Determination of Ga, Th, and U in Bauxite and Coal Ash by Epithermal Neutron Activation Analysis

Abstract: Neutron activation analysis is applied to the determination of Ga, Tb and U in Bauxite and coal ash: thermal and epithermal irradiations are used. The other enalytlcal methods are also quantitatively surveyed for gallium. The results indicate that epithermal neutron. activation is prefered (or those trace elements because the formor method is more simple and quick.Mineral containing gallium as a major constituent is unknown.
