Determination of Acetamiprid Residues in Vegetables by Indirect Competitive Chemiluminescence Enzyme Immunoassay

Abstract: Acetamiprid (ACE) is widely used in various vegetables to control pests, resulting in residues and posing a threat to human health. For the rapid detection of ACE residues in vegetables, an indirect competitive chemiluminescence enzyme immunoassay (ic-CLEIA) was established. The optimized experimental parameters were as follows: the concentrations of coating antigen (ACE-BSA) and anti-ACE monoclonal antibody were 0.4 and 0.6 µg/mL, respectively; the pre-incubation time of anti-ACE monoclonal antibody and ACE (… Show more

“…36 After the surface of Fe 3 O 4 is coated with Au NPs and Pt NPs, four new peaks of 38.4°, 44.6°, 64.9°, and 77.8°appeared, corresponding to the crystal planes of (111), (200), (220), and (311). 37 These four new peaks are typical peaks of Au NPs and Pt NPs, confirming the successful preparation of Fe 3 O 4 −Au/Pt.…”

“…As shown in Table , the LOD of this method is significantly lower than that of several colorimetry, fluorescence, and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy methods . Although the sensitivity of this method will be lower than or equal to that of some other methods, ,,,, the sensor based on Fe 3 O 4 –Au/Pt and SiO 2 nanoparticles designed in this study has unique advantages in simple sample pretreatment and dual-signal detection. In this study, the results obtained by the fluorescence signal and colorimetric signal can corroborate each other, avoiding the deviation easily caused by single signal detection.…”

“…Acetamiprid was detected and quantified in both real samples: PP1 (0.025 mg/kg) and PP2 (0.008 mg/kg) (Figure S4). Previously, it was determined in vegetables using the Indirect Competitive Chemiluminescence Enzyme Immunoassay [45], in lettuce using a bioelectric cell biosensor-based system [46], and in sweet cherries (0.111-0.529 mg/kg) using the HPLC-UV DAD system [47]. A preliminary method has been developed for the rapid in situ determination of acetamiprid in fruits and vegetables using the surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) method based on the Au@AgNPs substrate [48].…”

“…Many detection approaches have been developed to conduct qualitative/quantitative analysis of hazards in food samples. Zhu et al [8] established an indirect competitive chemiluminescence enzyme-linked immunoassay (Cl-ELISA) to detect acetamiprid (ACE) in the Chinese cabbage and cucumber. The LOD of this assay was 1.26 µg/kg, meeting the MRL requirements of ACE in vegetables.…”
