Purpose: This study investigates the factors influencing the adoption of mobile banking (m-banking) in Nepal. It seeks to identify the key determinants of user acceptance in a context where concerns about safety and trust persist. Design/Methodology/Approach: Questionnaires were used to gather data from 240 respondents out of a total sample size of 300. Regression, ANOVA, post-hoc analysis and other descriptive and inferential statistics were used to examine the relationships between perceived risk, trust, convenience, relative benefits and m-banking adoption in Nepal. Findings: Perceived risk was found to have a significantly negative relationship with m-banking adoption. Relative advantages showed a strong positive relationship with adoption. However, trust had a negligible impact and convenience did not demonstrate statistical significance. Age and education significantly affected user acceptability with users over 50 and those with advanced degrees showing higher acceptance. Conclusion: The study suggests focusing on the relative benefits of mobile banking and addressing perceived risk in order to increase users’ confidence. The findings suggest that trust may not be a significant factor and convenience's role remains uncertain. Banks should adapt their strategies to accommodate customers of various ages and educational levels. Practical Implications: The findings guide financial institutions and regulators to improve m-banking adoption. Implementing user-friendly, low-risk, low-cost financial services and financial literacy programs can enhance user acceptance. This study applies the technology acceptance model to Nepal and emphasizes the need for a national strategy to promote formal financial services including m-banking. It helps understand technology adoption in emerging economies.

The increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the field of education has raised significant concerns regarding the potential displacement of educators by AI systems. The present study explores the diverse domain of artificiala intelligence’s influence on academia, examining its capacity to transform conventional educational frameworks. By conducting a methodical investigation using scholarly resources including IEEE Xplore, ACM Digital Library, ERIC, and Google Scholar, this study develops an extensive compilation of 135 publications that were published between January 2017 and June 2023. The results of the study demonstrate a dynamic environment in which artificial intelligence serves as both a stimulant and a challenge. The present analysis emphasizes the complex relationship between artificial intelligence (AI) and education, as evidenced by the theoretical underpinnings emphasized by Panaou et al. (2012), as well as the promise of AI advocated by Luckin et al. (2016). The research highlights the significance of adopting a well-rounded strategy, wherein artificial intelligence serves to enhance the responsibilities of educators rather than replace them.

Purpose: This study aimed to examine the factors affecting virtual work arrangements (VWAs) and their impact on organizational performance (OP) within Nepalese organizations.Design/methodology/approach: The study utilized a quantitative research methodology, employing a sample size of 408 individuals engaged in a virtual work environment. It conducted empirical research to examine the impact of communication satisfaction (CS), job satisfaction (JS), support in computer anxiety (CA), and personal empowerment (PE) on OP.Findings: The study's findings revealed that CA had the highest significance level (β = 0.466, p < 0.05) in predicting enhanced OP. Likewise, it was seen that PE had a positive impact (β = 0.385, p < 0.05) on OP, indicating that organizational outcomes often improve when individuals experience a sense of empowerment. Additionally, it was worth noting that there was a statistically insignificant but positive association between CA and OP (β = 0.086, p > 0.05), suggesting that CA does not support enhanced OP. In contrast, JS has a negative and insignificant relationship with OP (β = - 0.097, p > 0.05) at VWAs in Nepal.Research Implications/Value: Such findings contribute to a greater comprehension of the factors influencing OP in Nepalese VWAs. In order to have a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between VWAs and OP, future research must examine additional elements and conduct more in-depth investigations.
