Determinantes Da Violência Doméstica Contra a Mulher

Abstract

_______________________________________________________ RESUMOEste estudo é sobre a incidência da violência contra as mulheres em Santa Maria -DF. Fazendo uso de um modelo Probit e tendose como base os dados obtidos no 2º Juizado Especial Cível e Criminal e 2º Juizado de Violência Doméstica e Familiar contra a Mulher de Santa Maria, durante ano de 2012, este estudo revelou que: o nível educacional da mulher não garante que ela esteja a salvo de qualquer tipo de violência. Além disso, a possibilidade de ser vítima de violência doméstica não depende apenas da educação da mulher, mas também da sua educação em relação ao seu parceiro. Palavras-Chave: 1. Criminalidade. _______________________________________________________ ABSTRACTThis study is on the incidence of violence against women in Santa Maria -DF. Making use of the Probit model and taking as a basis the data obtained in the 2nd Special Civil and Criminal and 2nd Claims Court Family and Domestic Violence against Women of Santa Maria, during the year 2012, this study revealed that: the educational level of women does not guarantee that it is safe from any kind of violence. Furthermore, the possibility of being a victim of domestic violence does not only depend on the education of women, but also their education in relation to their partner.
