Abstract

The main objective is to assess and analyze through performance indicators the efficiency and effectiveness of the institutional capacity of the two national commissions that have interference and representativeness in matters related to climate change for oceans and coasts: CIMARES (Comisión Intersecretarial de Mares y Costas in Spanish), and the CICC (Comisión Intergubernamental de Cambio Climático in Spanish); as well as the formulation and implementation of mitigation and adaptation to climate change national policies and the Sustainable Development Objective 14 (SDO 14).
