Abstract:For
the rapid and sensitive detection of vascular endothelial growth
factor 165 (VEGF165) in clinical blood samples, a microfluidic
sensing chip that integrates a centrifugal separation pretreatment
unit and a composite nanosensing film was proposed in this paper.
An efficient sensing strategy and method was established. The blood
sample was first separated and extracted by centrifugal force on the
centrifugal microfluidic chip within 5 min after injection. The separated
plasma can be automatically transferred… Show more

“…This PDMS disc with a minimal 500 μm channel depth was fabricated by the molding method and covered by a glass at the bottom. 34 With regard to the processing of silicon materials, the photolithography and wet etching techniques are two classic approaches. Silicon materials can be used for processing flow driving and control structures such as micropumps and microvalves or applied as a positive mold in the hot pressing and molding fabrication of polymers.…”

“…Previously, centrifugal force was used to separate plasma on a microfluidic chip and VEGF 165 in the plasma was in situ detected by DPV by our group. 13 Yang et al 14 designed a PDMS-glass hybrid microchip with four straight rectangular channels. Functionalized magnetic beads (MBs) were used to recognize and separate analytes from complex sample matrices and concentrate analytes in the magnetic capture/ detection area of the chip.…”
