For instance, Bovi et al (2020) in tropical humid forests in Brazil found zones with ER > 4000 Ωm to be soil pipes, and Joshi et al (2021) in the humid Western Ghats in India interpreted zones with ER > 1800 Ωm as soil pipes. On the one hand, this suggests that the general geophysical response of soil pipes is the same, that is, with higher ER values than the surroundings.…”
