Abstract:Psychological trauma and increased risk for suicide are a known occupational hazard for emergency medical services personnel. Technology now exists that can be drawn on by an artificial intelligence (AI) neural network to use contemporary machine learning techniques for the detection of psychological trauma and suicide risk. This conceptual paper outlines how such an AI network could be configured to receive and analyze data from multiple sources to save emergency responder lives.
