Detection of PIK3CA E545A mutation in circulating tumor DNA of a patient affected by uterine carcinosarcoma

Abstract: Uterine carcinosarcomas are biphasic neoplasms consisting of mixed epithelial and mesenchymal elements, representing less than 5% of all uterine malignancies.
