Detection of New Staphylococcal Enterotoxin Encoding Genes in Staphylococcus aureus Isolated from Animals and Humans in Yogyakarta

Abstract: Staphylococcal enterotoxins (SE) are essential in human and animal infection and food poisoning. This study analyzed ten genes (sek, sel, sem, sen, seo, sep, seq, ser, ses, and set) encoding new staphylococcal enterotoxin isolated from animals and humans by multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
