Detection of Hepatitis C virus RNA using a novel hybridization chain reaction method that competitively dampens cascade amplification

Abstract: The hybridization chain reaction (HCR) is widely used for biosensing. However, HCR does not provide the required sensitivity. In this study, we reported a method to improve the sensitivity of HCR by dampening the cascade amplification.
