Abstract: Background: P. aeruginosa exhibits several efflux pump systems that allow it to be resistant to several antimicrobial agents. Phenylalanine arginyl β-naphthylamide (PAβN) is an Efflux pump inhibitor (EPI) that can inhibit several multidrug efflux pumps.
