Detecting Synchronous Parathyroid Adenoma and False-Positive Findings on Technetium-99m MIBI Single Photon-Emission Computed Tomography/Computed Tomography

Abstract: Technetium (Tc)-99m-methoxyisobutylisonitrile (MIBI) single photon-emission computed tomography/computed tomography (SPECT/CT) is now being used increasingly for preoperative localization of parathyroid adenomas.
