Detecting age-related changes in skeletal muscle mechanics using ultrasound shear wave elastography

Abstract: Aging leads to a decline in muscle mass and force-generating capacity. Ultrasound shear wave elastography (SWE) is a non-invasive method to capture age-related muscular adaptation.
