Abstract:This paper presents a study of techniques for Zero Current Detection (ZCD) in the inductor, without the use of current sensors, for applications concerning boost converters operating at Boundary Conduction Mode (BCM). The ZCD event establishes the boost converter's main switch command to conduct in BCM.
