Detailed modeling of two diode photovoltaic module using MATLAB simulik

Abstract: <p>This paper proposes an accurate model of Photovoltaic Module. The model is presented in details and simulated by Matlab Simulink. The PV module is presented as a two diode model with the series’ and parallels’ resistances. The method is used to obtain the parameters of the module by using data provided by the manufacturer. To verify the accuracy of the proposed model, a comparison is done between the present results and those in a previous paper in which the single diode detailed model was studied. Th… Show more

“…In this paper, a modified PSO algorithm based MPPT controller is developed to operate the boost converter and in order to show the effectiveness, and results are compared with well known P&O based MPPT controller. In [7], the entire solar PV-boost converter system PSO and P&O based MPPT controllers are designed and simulated in MATLAB, and also results are obtained at changing atmospheric conditions and compared for different controllers.…”

“…Here Ip is the reverse saturation currents of both models and Is1 and Is2 are diode current and here ideal factors respectively A1 and A2. The purpose of the paper is to determine the power and simulate these modules by MATLAB Simulation [1]. Here diodes are connected parallel with source in this module.…”
