Detailed Analysis of Crystal Structure and Optical Properties of Green Synthesized Nanoparticles: Application for Photocatalyst Degradation of Methylene Blue

Abstract: We report the green chemistry reduction approach method for the synthesis of Manganese Oxide nanoparticles (MnO NPs), Copper Oxide nanoparticles (CuO NPs) and Manganese-doped Copper Oxide nanoparticles (Mn-doped CuO Nps). Aqueous extract from the seeds was used as reducing and capping agents. The detailed crystal structure analysis was investigated; crystallite size, crystallinity, morphological index, x-ray density, bulk density, specific surface area, porosity, Lorentz factor, Lorentz polarization factor and… Show more

“…Quadrant I shows the most frequent and current terms, highlighting only green synthesis studies. These studies are motivated by the urgent need to change synthesis methods and procedures towards improving energy use, reducing both energy consumption [82] and the generation of complex waste with low recyclability and natural degradability [83], and outlining viable alternatives focused on reducing or eliminating negative impacts on the environment [84]. Quadrant II shows less frequent but more current terms that have emerged in recent years, such as systems thinking aimed at contextualising the fundamentals of chemistry in real-life events [79].…”
