Destruction of secondary Schistosoma mansoni sporocysts in Biomphalaria glabrata after phytochemical exposure

Abstract: Background: Schistosomiasis is a neglected tropical disease and affects over 200 million people worldwide. The snail Biomphalaria glabrata is one of the intermediate hosts of S. mansoni .
