Dess‐Martin Periodinane Oxidation

Abstract: The conversion of primary and secondary alcohols into carbonyl compounds by means of the oxidation with a hypervalent iodine compound is generally known as the Dess–Martin periodinane oxidation or simply referred to as the Dess–Martin oxidation.
