Desmoplastic fibroma of bone: A morphological and immunohistochemical characterization

Abstract: Background: Desmoplastic Fibroma (DF) of bone is a locally aggressive and infrequent benign neoplasm. Recently was described a role of vascular endothelial growth factor in the interstitial fibrotic processes.
