Designing the Optimal Configuration of a Small Power System for Autonomous Power Supply of Weather Station Equipment

Abstract: Autonomous power systems serving remote areas with weather stations with small settlements are characterized by a fairly high cost of generating electricity and the purchase and delivery of fuel. In addition, diesel power plants require regular maintenance, have a relatively short service life during continuous operation and produce a large amount of emissions into the environment. This article discusses various methods of placing solar panels in the space for the autonomous power supply of weather station equ… Show more

“…By analysing the test matrix, it is possible to identify the necessary number of additional test points for the differentiation of so-called equivalent defects. Equivalent defects represent faults of the object modules that are indistinguishable using the existing set of test pairs [26,27].…”

“…The findings show that the expense of implementing extensive power storage is contingent upon the specific use of the apparatus and often necessitates substantial initial financial outlay. Malozyomov et al explore an autonomous power supply system fueled by RES to establish an SES [35]. It is emphasized that achieving sustainable economic growth necessitates using RES logically and deliberately.…”

“…Moisture penetrates through the holes into the housing and causes reactions. Analysis of failed ICs shows that the presence of holes in the cases is more dangerous at the final stages of the manufacturing process than during actual operation under normal conditions [30][31][32][33][34].…”
