Serious games are not digital games that focus on entertainment and fun alone. On the other hand, serious games prioritise education that can increase interest and involvement among users, especially children in learning and teaching. Serious games can positively affect children by the impetus to transfer the knowledge and experience gained through games to real-world applications. Children development, especially at the preschool level, emphasises several essential elements for priority attention, including values and identity formation.Values and identity formation focus on inculcating an outstanding and well-established individual to be the backbone of a generation who can contribute and function well in society. The process of planning and developing a serious game featuring authentic values and identity formation learning content while maintaining entertainment and fun features is challenging. Thus, methodology and design guidelines are needed to help the game development team model a compelling game for the children. This paper addresses this challenge by planning and implementing a serious game framework to promote values and identity formation for children aged four to six. The results of this study are a serious game framework for values and identity formation of preschool children, based on the Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning principles. With a proper balance between game attributes and learning activities, the design of a serious game model includes game elements related to the readiness of preschool children to learn. The learning content applies the text that emulates the great values of the Prophet Muhammad peace and blessing upon him in nobly conducting daily life.

In the past two decades, a considerable amount of research has focused on digital games as part of media education. Digital game-based learning (DGBL) is identified as a potential pedagogical approach to enhance learning in the digital era. In light of the increased number of academic articles on educational games, this study considers the development and the factors that influence learning performance among children by providing a thematic review of the literature available on DGBL. Findings show that despite following developmental standard procedures, a distinct perspective between the game designer and the educator is essential. Three major approaches have been identified, namely the learner-centered, the game-centered and the model approaches. Learning processes that use digital games show empirically positive results as well as the great influence in terms of intrinsic motivation, game features and overall learning experience.

A flood is an event of an increase in water volume above the standard limit due to increased rainfall, rising sea levels, storms, and others that result in submerging an area. Floods are disasters that can cause damage and loss of property, disrupt community activities and even cause loss of life. The central defiance to rescue flood victims is choosing a safe route for flood victims to reach the evacuation site. To be able to choose a safe route for flood victims, a flood evacuation simulation is made. Flood evacuation simulation is part of the game that has been created and aims to provide education about the weight of the obstacle that needs to be considered in selecting routes for flood victims. In this flood evacuation simulation, each road has obstacles. The method proposed for choosing safe routes for flood victims is the Fuzzy-based Analytical Hierarchy Process (Fuzzy AHP). The calculation of road route weight using the Fuzzy AHP method will produce the weight for each route. The smallest weight route shows the priority route and the safe route for flood victims to pass. In this case, the Fuzzy AHP method's calculation produces the lowest weight of 0.02347, which is achieved by route 5, the route passing through S-a-b-d-D. This route is a priority route that is safe for flood victims to pass through.
