“…The adaptation of a known piece is also used as a separate, however insignificant, binary variable in the study of the demand for Flemish theatre (Werck & Heyndels, 2007). The last SP-based valuation in performing arts (Wiśniewska & Czajkowski, 2017) developed a simple division into comedy and tragedy ("entertainment" and "drama", respectively) with two categories: "children's" and "experimental", all categories being statistically significant determinants of the WTP for the broader accessibility of theatres in Warsaw, Poland, when included in the hypothetical programme of performances' supply.
