Design, Synthesis, Molecular Docking, and In Vitro Antibacterial Evaluation of Benzotriazole-Based β-Amino Alcohols and Their Corresponding 1,3-Oxazolidines

Nasseb Singh,
Vidushi Abrol,
Sarita Parihar
et al.

Abstract: In the present study, a series of benzotriazole-based β-amino alcohols were efficiently synthesized in excellent yields via aminolysis of benzotriazolated epoxides under catalyst-and solventfree conditions. Further these β-amino alcohols were successfully utilized to synthesize the corresponding benzotriazole-based oxazolidine heterocyclic derivatives. All the synthesized compounds were characterized by various spectroscopic techniques such as 1 H NMR, 13 C NMR, and mass spectroscopy for structure elucidation.… Show more

“…Simultaneously, the dissolution medium was replenshised with a fresh 5 ml of solvent/buffer to maintain the artificial sink conditions. The filtrate obtained was suitably diluted with the respective solvent/buffer and the amount of drug was estimated using a UV spectrophotometer at the relevant λ max of 300 nm (Alamgir A Dar et al, 2019;Guan et al, 2019;Singh et al, 2023).…”
