Design, Synthesis, Anti-Inflammatory And Analgesic Studies Of Novel 1,3,4- Oxadiazole-Thione Derivatives

Abstract: A set of novel 1,3,4-oxadiazole based derivatives (5a-n) were synthesized through a series of reactions including cyclization of hydrazides. The structure of new compounds was supported by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and MS data. The analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities of the synthesized compounds were evaluated using writhing assays and carrageenan-induced rat paw edema respectively.
