Design, Synthesis, and Characterization of a Paclitaxel Formulation Activated by Extracellular MMP9

Abstract: The concept of triggered drug release offers a possibility to overcome the toxic side effects of chemotherapeutics in cancer treatment by reducing systemic exposure to the active drug.
