Abstract:BACKGROUNDPeanut southern blight disease, caused by Sclerotium rolfsii, is a destructive soil‐borne fungal disease. The current control measures, which mainly employ succinate dehydrogenase inhibitors, are prone to resistance and toxicity to non‐target organisms.
