Design of Ultrasonic Sensor and Ultraviolet Sensor Implemented on a Fire Fighter Robot Using AT89S52

Abstract: A firefighter is a task given by someone or a team to extinguish a fire that occurs when building a building. The officer took the danger of fighting the fire with a fire engine equipped with a water sprayer. Because of these dangers, a robot was made to help put out the fire. This research aimed to design a fire extinguisher robot using AT89S52 microcontroller as its controller. A DC fan controlled by a relay was utilized to extinguish the fire and a fire sensor (UV-Tron) was used to detect the presence of fi… Show more

“…The irrigation is done automatically according to the level of soil moisture, and saves electrical energy as the pumps are powered by solar energy through the use of solar cells and thus is compatible with remote areas where there is no electricity grid. Authors in [11] aimed to build an automatic irrigation system in Indonesia that depends on a programmed chip that controls the launch of water sprinklers to irrigate crops based on the soil moisture. The system works using many sensors and boards and is an extraction from previous research studies in the same field.…”

“…The electrical design consists of two parts: the main controller robot and the LoRa sender/receiver, as shown in Figure 3. The main controller robot consists of Arduino Mega 2560 as a data processor and controller [19][20][21][22][23][24]. There are several sensors on the robot that are GPS, non-contact temperature sensors, accelerometers, and ambient humidity temperatures.…”

“…The corona virus disease 2019 (COVID- 19) handling can be done by disinfecting both the human body and object in the outer environment. In addition to spray disinfectant to the object, the process of virus degradation can be also be done by exposing the virus to ultraviolet (UV) light [1,2].…”
