Design of the rotary VCM actuator for small form factor optical disk drive

Abstract: In this paper, the rotary VCM actuator for small form factor (SFF) optical disk drive (ODD) is designed. The rotary VCM actuator needs high driving sensitivity, sufficient structural stiffness and thermal stability.
