Design of the cooled IRFPA real-time non-uniformity correction system based on FPGA

Abstract: Non-Uniformity Correction (NUC) is a key technology for Infrared Focal Plane Array (IRFPA) real-time image processing system. In this paper, an IRFPA real-time two-point calibration (TPC) algorithm hardware system was designed. The system use CycloneⅢ-EP3C120F780 FPGA of the ALTERA as the controller, and has following features: simple structure, high precision, stability, portability, and real-time.
