Abstract:This article presents an efficient and formulated approach to the design of polarization-insensitive metasurfaces adopting a symmetric cubic phase distribution for both wideband and wide-angle reduction of radar cross section (RCS). The proposed approach offers several key advantages, including the efficient calculation of the phase distribution across the metasurface and at each unit cell using an efficient and straightforward design formula, eliminating the need for timeconsuming optimization algorithms. scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
