Organic fertilization involves working with machines by a special construction, suitable for the material to be spread, machines that have, in most cases, chain conveyors with scrapers attached to the chains. In some cases, the conveyor chain may break, due to the jams, and the need for manual unloading of the bunker (bucket) appears, which requires a great physical effort, the unloading being made by the operator, using a shovel. The construction of the platform using mobile, articulated elements would greatly facilitate the unloading at the bottom of the bunker and would eliminate the physical effort of the operator. This article presents the structural, kinematic and kinetostatic analysis of a mechanism designed for actuating a mobile platform, which is part of a manure spreader, composed of articulated elements driven by hydraulic cylinders. For the kinematic analysis of the mobile element platform’s mechanism, calculation procedures written in the Matlab syntax are used. After the kinematic analysis of the mechanism, the kinetostatic analysis is performed, i.e. the determination of the reactions from the kinematic couplings, as well as the hydraulic force from the hydraulic cylinder. The results can be used for dimensional verification of the mechanism components, thus contributing to the optimization of the mechanism.

As per regular requirement for farming work farm-land preparation is done by spreading manure includes cow dung. In our country India, tractors or bullock carts are preferred to carry the manure from the compost place to the farm land and manure/cow dung is stack piled in the field.[1] Farming procedures with organic farming are broadly used and adoptable for many types of lands in several regions in India.[2] Due to high increasing cost of labours, use of manpower for the purpose of organic materials are uneconomical as time requirement for this is also more. In this work, objectives are defined, design of mechanism, development of Portable Manure Spreading Trolley is done and illustrated in this paper. The developed machine is tested and shows satisfactory performance for the specified designed parameters.

In this paper are presented the results of experimental research conducted in order to improve the uniformity of organic fertilizers distribution (compost and semi-fermented manure) used for soil fertilization, if the administration is done with a machine with a distributor with continuous spiral centrifugal beaters, arranged vertically. The uniformity of organic fertilizers distribution depends on a number of factors such as: the speed and angle of inclination of the distribution device, the distance between the distribution beaters, the humidity and the density of the material, wind speed, the size of the fertilizer particles. The determinations were performed under working conditions and the various parameters were the beaters speed, beaters inclination angle and the feed rate of the distribution device, choosing 3 situations (minimum, average and maximum) for each of them. Based on the obtained results, the multivariable functions of polytropic form was determined, which characterize the degree of uniformity of the spread material, function that can be the basis for the elaboration of constructive solutions to ensure the optimum uniformity of distribution.
