Design of IoT based protection system for Distribution Breakers using Arduino

Abstract

Protection of an installed electrical system is globally controlled and monitored through the centralized internet base communication medium to make the system most reliable. Now a day’s researchers are also focusing to protect the Lineman from electrical Hazards that occur in the system. Therefore, this work focuses on the protection of lineman Through the help of an Automatic Password based circuit breaker using the Arduino system. This solution provides and ensures the complete safety lineman through password-based circuit mode. Furthermore, the detection of the fault in the installed electric line will be acknowledged, by the lineman to substation operating staff by entering the referenced password. Thus, the isolated system. and balanced communication of lineman and operating staff help to reduce the possibility of accidents and providing safety as well as reliability of power system.
