Design of Gateway Architecture for Real-Time A/V Streaming between IEEE1394 Network And Ethernet

Abstract: This paper presents design architecture for multimedia streaming gateway to transfer Audio/Video (A/V) contents between IEEE1394 network and Ethernet. In IEEE1394 network, Digital Video (DV) is the de-facto standard streaming format, and MPEG4 is a well-known streaming format used in Ethernet based network.
