Design of an explosive detection system to investigate the luggage of aircraft passenger based on neutron-gamma technique

Abstract: In this study an explosive detection system to investigate luggage of air travelers by the Monte Carlo N-Particle Transport code (MCNP5) has been designed. Concrete as a commonly shielding material was the main part in the designed system. Pulsed neutron generator with 14.1 MeV neutrons was used as a neutron source.
