Design of a Rotor Assembly for Bandwidth Limiting Neutron Chopper

Abstract: A bandwidth limiting neutron chopper is an important device in neutron scattering facilities. It contains a rotor assembly running precisely under control to cut a neutron beam into designed pulses. There are a number of requirements for the rotor assembly to function rightly.
