Design of a Low‐Cost Permanent Synchronous Machine for Isolated Wind Conversion Systems

Abstract: The chapter deals with the theoretical analysis of two configurations of low-cost permanent synchronous generator (PMSG), suitable for small rating, direct driven applications, such as small-and microscale wind power plants.
