<p>The development of the internet of things makes all objects interconnected, making it the next technical revolution. It has been applied extensively in various sectors, including agriculture, smart parking, and industrial places, and most importantly, in the health monitoring process.[1] To monitor or its application in surgery procedure is one of its uses in healthcare. This project proposes a system aimed to solve sudden occurrences and emergencies during the operation process. The system's objective is to minimize deaths and other possible effects of the phenomena by connecting the surgeon with an online specialist all over the world. The proposed system architecture is based on medical sensors measuring the patient's physical parameters utilizing wireless sensor networks. The sensors send the parameters to the Raspberry Pi, which converts them to digital data. The digital data is transferred over the wireless network to the server, which is then sent to the cloud environment using the internet of things. Additionally, In case of any problem, the system works by sending the surgeon a voice signal to open the system and record the message and send it with the video that was recorded by the Raspberry pi cameras through the server to all the surgeons involved in the system through the Internet of things all over the world. Then the surgeons from across the globe communicate according to his specialty of assistant surgeon to communicate with the surgeon inside the operating room through headset and microphone.</p>

Today's educational needs require tools with neither geographical nor temporal restrictions. These tools also have to help students to reach the knowledge and provide them with the skills that the labor market demands. To achieve this goal, the technical areas rely on the contribution that laboratory practices provide. However, traditional laboratory practices, carried out in person at the institution, are limited due to the requirements of both their exploitation and their provision. For this reason, educational institutions have opted for remote laboratories (RLs) as the educational tool to provide the benefits of experimentation in real environments, either as an accompaniment to face-to-face activity or as the only mean of experimentation in real environments. Although RLs provide exclusive benefits <<24/7 availability, integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ITCs), etc.>>, they also present limitations derived from the technology involved <<hardware and software>>; PILAR project << Platform Integration of Laboratories based on the Architecture of VISIR>> was conceived under this premise. PILAR proposes a federation of 5 Virtual Instrument Systems in Reality (VISIR) systems. VISIR is a RL for wiring and measuring electrical and electronics circuits in a simulated workbench. PILAR aims to create a grid of laboratories shared and accessed by all participants, expanding and empowering the existing systems to a new level of service and capacity.

Traditional temperature monitoring system for blood delivery requires a USB cable to extract data after delivery has been completed. Without real-time temperature data during delivery, the quality of the products cannot be monitored efficiently. In this paper, we have designed and developed a mobile application-based temperature monitoring system for medical needs delivery. It has a mobile application to display temperature data in real-time. The system includes Arduino Uno, DHT22, DS3231, microSD card adapter and ESP8266 Wi-Fi module. The temperature and humidity data were stored in the microSD card and ThingSpeak server for further analysis. A mobile application allowed users to visualized and monitor the temperature of the payload during delivery. For the system test and evaluation purpose, the developed temperature monitoring system was placed inside a polystyrene box. The temperature and humidity data were acquired using DHT22 and Fluke t3000 fc in cold and ambient temperature for 30 minutes with a sampling time of 2 seconds in the polystyrene box. The results showed that the correlations error 0.96 and 1.00, respectively. Finally, we showed that the developed temperature monitoring system can capture and record temperature data in real-time. It is reliable and comparable to a high-end temperature monitor.
