Abstract:This paper proposes a dual-arched nonlinear anti-vibration structure (D-ANAVS) and systematically investigates its nonlinear characteristics to assess its vibration suppression performance. The D-ANAVS consists of a dual arrangement of arch-shaped arcs, which demonstrates a distinctive characteristic characterized by the combination of linear and geometric nonlinear stiffness during the compression.
