Design of a Compact Dual-band Antenna for 2.4/5.8 GHz WLAN/WiFi Applications using Signal Interference Technique

Abstract: This manuscript presents a compact dual-band monopole antenna for WLAN/WiFi. The proposed antenna is comprised of a wideband monopole antenna integrated with a wideband bandstop filter (BSF). Within the proposed frequency band of operation, the proposed antenna exhibits good selectivity and low reflection loss.
