Radial magnetic force acts on the motor stator cause large vibration and acoustic noise, that have limit the application of switched reluctance motors (SRMs). They can be aggravated when there is unbalanced force due to rotor eccentricity. This paper analyzed the function of bearingless technique in compensating the unbalanced magnetic attraction force; Then the stator radial force mathematic model of bearingless switched reluctance motors (BSRMs) is introduced; System simulation models of SRM and BSRM are built and two motors' stator radial force are analyzed. Radial force harmonic analysis results indicate:The DC restorer and lower order harmonic magnitude of lopsided force decrease sharply compare with which of SRM, Thus it's stator vibration is smaller and can radiate smaller acoustic noise, and BSRM is more fit be used in fields call for lower noise.
