Design Approach of Range Gate Generator for FMCW Doppler Radar as Presence Sensor(Short Communication)

Abstract: The paper presents the design philosophy and hardware details of a range gate generator as presence sensor suitable for an X-band freauencv-modulated continuous wave radar. A logic circuit to indicate the target presence between 20 m Lo 30-m with a maximum of & 0.5 count cycle-limited error has been designed and incorporated.
