Design and verification of Sub‐6 GHz RoF transceiver employing LR4 TOSA and ROSA packaging structure

Abstract: In this article, we discuss radio‐over‐fiber (RoF) technologies that use TOSA and ROSA packaging to support the implementation of 700 MHz up to 6 GHz wireless systems integrated with optical fiber networks. The CWDM technology is employed for RoF transceiver which is used to provide high bandwidth and supply flexible multi‐input multi‐output (MIMO) antenna in broadband optical‐wireless access networks.
