Design and synthesis of hyperbranched polyimide containing multi-triphenylamine moieties for memory devices

Abstract: A hyperbranched polyimide (HBPI) was synthesized from a designed triamine monomer and the HBPI based memory device presented SRAM (static random access memory) behavior with a low switch voltage and high ON/OFF current ratio.

“…Therefore, ODPI showed only insulator behavior without any switching behavior. I–V characteristics of 6FHBPI are depicted in Figure S7 in supporting information as we published before . The memory device of 6FHBPI was SRAM in type and could be switched from the OFF state to ON state at −1.90 V with an ON/OFF current ratio reaching up to 1 × 10 6 .…”
