Abstract:The development of hydrogenation processes for polyalphaolefin (PAO) lubricants, which hold commercialization potential, is a challenging endeavor. Here, we synthesized and characterized rod‐shaped γ‐alumina supported Pd catalyst for PAO hydrofinishing, comparing it with γ‐alumina supported Ni catalyst.
