Design and Simulations of a Guide-screw Hand-spike Nose Deflecting Mechanism

Abstract: The nose deflecting mechanism is important in the development of deflectable nose control technology. In this paper, drawbacks of several existing deflection mechanisms are analyzed, and design requirements of the nose deflection mechanism are summarized.
